Po Delta enters the list of Biosphere Reserves of Unesco.
The official recognition was announced Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in Paris, by the Unesco International Committee of MAB Programme, Man and the Biosphere.

This program was started in the 70s to improve the relationship between man and environment and to reduce the loss of biodiversity through research, conservation and sustainable development programs.

Po Delta is an uncontaminated area, surrounded by woods, pine forests and oases and traversed by navigable rivers.
Its great variety of fauna and flora bound to the landscape and history of our area, creates a unique ecosystem that each year attracts many nature lovers and outdoor activities.
